This illustration is inspired by the harvest moon and the moon festival culture in Asia.
Painting a night sky vibe with glowing effect can be very challenging for me. It is a good practice.
Honestly, working on this piece is truly enjoyable! I had so much fun painting it.
Of course the theme is 'Harvest Moon' due to the season, but I also want to add a kind of romantic vibe so I added a couple. And it would be nicer to add a diversity in relationship in my work. To me, Moon has a strong feminine sense as it is always a sign of beauty. Therefore, I decided to illustrate girl's love in this piece.
